Everyday life has changed for all of us in light of COVID-19. While many of you are working from home and practicing social distancing, we want you to know CEA is still here for you.
We’ve implemented a telework policy for all employees so we can do our part to help flatten the curve. But even though we’re teleworking, CEA continues to operate with full functionality and has not experienced any operational impacts that prevent us from performing both necessary and normal business functions.
As you know, the CEA policy is specific to earthquake damage. CEA’s claim-paying capacity is more than $18 billion. We remain financially strong.
We know it’s important to continue our work. We continue to be available for our 1.1 million policyholders, and for you. We need to continue our work of educating Californians on how to prepare before, during, and after an earthquake.
